Data Analytics - Analysis of UCL | Matches & Players Dataset

This analysis draws on a comprehensive set of datasets from the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League season, covering various aspects of performance including attacking, defending, goalkeeping and disciplinary metrics. While the broader dataset includes files such as attacking.csv, attempts.csv, defending.csv, disciplinary.csv, goalkeeping.csv, goals.csv, distribution.csv and key_stats.csv. As someone with a strong interest in football as a Liverpool fan, well-acquainted with the club's presence within the UCL, I was especially interested in examining attacking outputs and defensive performances of both teams and individuals of quality. These files provide me the ability to explore goal-scoring trends, distribution patterns across players and teams, and passing accuracy, defending quality uncovering the key insights of attacking and defending performances throughout the UCL 21/22 campaign.
